African Sausage Tree Cream
« on: June 02, 2004, 04:09:47 PM »
Anyone tried this? Did it have any effect?

I bought some from Lloyds Pharmacy this morning (£12 for 125ml - ouch!) but the staff didn't exactly inspire confidence as they didn't even know how to say Psoriasis!

I tried it too from my local pharm.. i tried the scalp lotion and the shampoo... didnt bother witht he creams as i had a scrip for that..

but no the shampoo was nice and gentle, but cant say i noticed much diff, also the scalp lotion/cream was very greasy and smelt like poo, but since then i been on exorex which smelt worse!

But in all i woulsd say it was moisturising but that it!  ;D

Sorry, never heard of it until now:  What's in it?  Please don't try and tell me sausages grown on trees in africa.

Hmmm.  It certainly sounds as if it could be worth a try!

I spoke to my wholesaler about this about a year ago, he had a sample sent to him - he never tried it - but said it smelt disgusting and looked like gloop

Tried it last night and it seems to have made things worse! Where the P was pink it is now bright red (unfortunately it is on my face - tip: don't try new creams while drunk)

Oh no!  also a good idea to do a test area the size of a 50p piece first!

I bought some of the cream a couple of years ago, didn't do anything for me.

Just seen this cream Themba the one your talking about advertised in the Times.  Available from the little herbal company also they recommend to be used with Simba caps.
