my only issue when eating well is the weight loss, i am a slim build and when i get on to eating well i lose so much weight, and even though i feel good, i look unhealthy thin.

You will find that this normally balances itself out.

Many people report similar weight loss in the first few months when eating healthy and having concerned relatives comment on it.

But your body seems to regulate itself naturally and in each case I have read of so far (over past four years) once necessary stored fat, water retention and toxins etc...have been removed, the body seems to rebalance itself and settle on a healthy slim look.

I remember how thin looking I went, even though I was eating plenty of healthy foods each day and weight lifting for tone. A couple of people negatively commented on it. But it soon passed and my weight normalised.

The other thing is. When I was growing up, it was very unusual to see obesity.  From memory, there were literally only two overweight children in my entire school. Now it is like every other person. So to see someone lose weight quickly with dietary choices, can sometimes make others comment negatively on weight loss, since carrying extra weight is such the norm these days.

Also things are a bit topsy turvy nutrition wise these days. I eat half to one organic avocado every day and my hubby eats raw organic nuts and seeds every day. These are healthy fats. Yet people say we should not eat them so often because they are fats that may cause weight gain. And yet these work colleagues who tell us this, basically survive on a whole host of very unhealthy trans-fats, white products and processed foods. These people are very sickly looking in complexion, plus are often off work sick. It is just topsy turvy. I find it amazing what some people consider to be food.

Obviously if you are not getting the right nutrients every day, then that would be of a concern. But as long as you have a healthy balanced diet (replacing gluten products with healthy gluten-free grains like chia and quinoa) and toning or rebounding, your weight loss will stop and will even itself out over time. The body naturally regulates itself, if you do the right thing by it.

I don't suffer from insanity....I enjoy every minute of it!

Hey LittlePinkPuss,

What do you think of colsta having a protein supplement to assist in weight gain? Like having the drinks that people who are working out at the gym would have. Surely that would assist?

Never give up!
