To start i will repost Arts posts on Dr Bronners peppermint shampoo (which i have found success with) and also his experiences with Do groo shampoo

" Hi bj,
Just thought I'd comment on Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap that you said was effective for your scalp p.
I started using it right after you posted about it and it is a different type of soap to be sure. I applied an approximate tablespoon to my hair and lathered it up at the very beginning of my shower and left it there for the duration of the shower rinsing it out as the final step of my shower.
For the first week I noticed that a lymph node on the lower rear right side of my neck, which is usually slightly swollen and fairly soft , got more swollen and harder, and in fact, it became a little tender to the touch which I have only noticed when my scalp p is really bad. My scalp p was not bad at the start of using Dr. Bronner's soap, but it was persistent and generally a nuisance.
By the second week that lymph node had returned to normal and pretty much stayed that way all week.
My scalp didn't seem to change much, still flaking with no thick buildup areas. At the beginning of the third week, that lymph node started to swell slightly and harden just a bit. During the third week I noticed that the flaking was increasing to significantly worse than when I started, but I wanted to at least finish three weeks for the experiment and possibly 4 if I could. At the end of the third week, my scalp was definitely flaking more and I had become concerned that it wad headed out of control so I was forced to end the experiment with Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Soap for scalp p at three weeks.
So like many things to do with psoriasis, what works for one person may not work for another person.
After completing the Dr B's experiment on my scalp I moved on to my next experiment which was to try another product that I have read about on this website and others sites that has helped people with their scalp p. At the best, it has helped some people to rid themselves of the outward signs of scalp p and at the worst, it has been ineffective for some. Again, what works for some , does not seem to work for others.
"At the rate I am going through this bottle, I guestimate it will last another week. The bottle cost less than $10 at any major chain pharmacy like a CVS, Walgreens and even Walmart. I had never seen or heard of this product prior to actually going and looking for it........much like Dr. Bronner's soap. I found it in the ethnic hair product section.
From everything I read, it seems that Doo Gro, does not seem to stimulate most users hair growth, but I did notice that the directions say it may help to eliminate dandruff. I got the impression that people who were not using it for scalp p were using it as a type of hair conditioner.
I did a quick google search of each ingredient combined with the word, "psoriasis" and it seems like each ingredient has links suggesting potential benefit for psoriasis.
This is the product:
