Any one tried Salcura
« on: September 02, 2011, 10:45:14 AM »
Hi am am quiet new on here as although I have had P for 3 years it was confined to my elbow. i now have it everywhere and am getting desperate.
I am taking the Barnys suppliments but have only been on them for a week, I am also taking Manuka Honey and trying it topically on my elbow. I am taking dead sea salt baths and now am trying Salcura. I am finding it takes the itch away but again early days to see. so was wondering if there are any success storys out there.
Also if any one else had p bought on by mega stress whats there experience once stress gone?
many thanks and glad to be part of a group like this, although reading the posts it not to uplifting.
thanks again
Jo ::)

Hi, and welcome to the site.

I am trying it also, I am trying 50ml trial offer spray and have sent for 250ml spray to give it a fair 'go'. I will keep you posted.

Cheers

Tosh  ;)

Hi Josiejo

Just going out now, but have you tried Alphosyl for your hair/scalp?

Or TGel?

Both over the counter, Good Luck. :)

Tosh.

PS I've had P for 25 years and I manage it well now with various lotions, potions and tablets. You are not on your own. I have no P on my forearms now and that is very satisfying. My life is mine not my P's. I am me and I am happy. Hang on in there and don't let the B******* get you down. Chin up.

Hi Tosh,
Yes it is Alphosyl i was using it didn't calm it at all today so just been to holland and Barrett and bought dead sea Magik scalp mask ( as well as loads more sea salt). put it on and its calmed it right down.
Glad you have got your arms clear. I have some on the underside of one arm so not to noticable but dread to think it will spread!
Thanks for the support i'm totally on my own right now so the support is good.
Jo
ps my kids think i've got chicken pox! ???

that would be fantastic thanks. tosh.
I treid the salt bath again and soaked my head in it and my scalp P has totally calmed down and almost gone. though my body is flaring up more and more each day.
it seems to be starting from my legs and working its way up. I am dreading to think what I will feel like if it starts to become visible over my tops.
I am so low I can hardly think about anythink else.
its all bright red to and very raised. I am now waitning for Puva treatment but don't know how long the referral will take,
I am taking the Barnys vit and mineral regimen that has been posted on here andhave been on it for 10 days but nothing is happening.

I am cosidering the diet that hes been posted on here with the drinks. but not sure how well i will be able to stick to it. also not sure how long to give the suppliments before i try something else.

I am also having Manuka Honey and putting it on the largest of my plaques which is my elbow. again its been 10 days and not much is happening apart from its bright red.
got to go now but looking forward to hearing from you.
thanks again Tosh

If you do a search using the facility at the top of the page you will find a lot of posts about Salcura. Quite a few people have tried it.
