No. 2...

HERE IS A BASIC GROCERY LIST:

VEGETABLES:
"Romaine lettuce, Carrots, Celery, Sweet Potatoes (or yams), Squash, Zucchini, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Onions, Parsley"
Frozen vegetables are good and can be quite convenient.
FRUITS:
"Anything but citrus, peaches or berries. "
"Good things include Pineapple, Bananas, Pears, Grapes, Apples, Dates, Nectarines, Mango. Lemons."
Breads / Cereals / Grains:
"Basically, just oatmeal. You can try some other breads or cereals but I  highly suggest not. Especially white breads."
Meats:
"Fish, chicken, turkey, duck, eggs, (Canned salmon, sardines & tuna are good to keep stocked)"
No processed meats. No shell fish or crab.

Milk or Diary:
Please try to cut milk & cheese from your diet. If you must then only
get non-fat milk and white cheeses only. Try replacing milk with unsweetened soy / rice milk. It's really quite good.
Oils:
Olive oil is your friend. Get some. Have some. Use it for your cooking & salads Flax-seed oil (can also get raw flax-seeds or ground flax-seed flour)
Spices and Seasonings:
"Sea salt (go easy on the salt), ground black pepper, garlic or garlic seasonings, Rosemary…just nothing hot and spicy."

Drinks:
"unsweetened Apple juice, soy milk, grape juice, pineapple juice, water, sparkling water, coffee, tea."
Just walk on past the alcohol and soda. They don't even exist anymore.

I have decided to add the shake to my diet, made a few changes regarding leaving out the citrus fruits and red meat. The rest of my diet is almost 100% the same as this program except alcohol on a Saturday. I will not sacrifice my social life :D

I have prepared the ingredients for the shake for the next 7 days and stored it in freezer bags. I am really surprised how easy it is to drink. I had a few problems with overload trying to get the quantities of veg right. It looked like a swamp ;D

I will update my progress regarding changes in my scalp and neather regions as these are the worst affected.

This morning's cold and wet cycle didn't help, but over the weekend, my skin looked fantastic - definitely faded, less flaky and virtually no itching. Not sure if can put this down to the recent good weather, the diet or the various supplements I'm taking, but at the very least, the shake is making me feel much more alert and energetic. In particular around the post-lunch period too, when I would typically feel sluggish and tired.

Thanks for sending this recipe over Totoro!

I e-mailed last week and got a response today.
He's sent me the whole program on a spreadsheet. We're about to go away, but once we're back I'm going to look into it and consider giving it a try.

I'm taking the vit D regime right now, not noticing much yet but it's early days.
i sent a mail asking for the information as well, i think i'll add it to my routine.
i'm eating low carb already: no grains (except oats), potatoes, rice... i'm used to sticking to a fairly restrictive diet.

i eat low carb because that's what my guts do best on, i have IBS which reacts badly to a high carb diet.

How is everyone getting on with this?

I'm on day 10 - by now I'm used to the shake, but starting to tire of it. Might have to try and mix up the ingredients with a few different vegetables, although I think that the substantial portion of lettuce powers the drink's taste somewhat.

Anyway, that aside, my p has really started to fade and none of the cracking, bleeding or soreness that was so prevalent on my arms. In fact, the fading seems to be ocurring from the centre of each patch outwards. Is that how p usually recedes?

Totoro - do you know how long you have to be on the diet before you see the potential for total clearing? And how are your patches getting on?

What info are you after Anja? As far as I'm aware, the Excel file that he sends over contains essentially the same information as that posted up by Totoro.

However, it does contain a week-by-week progress tab where you can input your own ratings/photos etc, so if you'd like the file, I can send it over to you.

Hi Tirez,

Great to hear you are seeing changes.
Mine sounds like it is clearing in a similair way to yours
ie , from the inside out...with a dark ring of P around the edges.

At the moment I seem to be clearing top down...my arms and back
good but my ankles, though much thinner, are not clearing inside out.

I have no idea really how long this will take and i guess everybody
will be different. Since using the diet my P has had some ups n downs
and I have strayed once or twice.

I will post some new pics soonish when i can show that there is a big
difference.

As you say it is hard to stick to diet...but keep it up! I hope to one day
get to point where I can do 5 days on 2 days off...and hope that helps
balance out the problems with P.

PS...are you taking Vit D3 as well?

I'm hoping to do something similar further down the line too. Don't think I can ever stray too far from the straight and narrow in terms of healthy eating but since I'm feeling so much better in terms of the energy and attentiveness that result from the shake and my generally rigorous diet, it would be in the interest of my general health to stick to it anyway.

I (think) I'm taking vitamin d3 - and by that I mean I've purchased the only bottle of vitamin d pills that are on sale at Holland & Barrett. The label states that they contribute to a healthy heart and immune system, so I can only assume they are the pills I should be taking.

I'm also applying glycerine, which has helped massively in restoring the overall tone and softness of my skin. I would thoroughly recommend everyone to at least try it - it's a cheap and effective way to moisturize; far better than any other expensive cream/lotion that I've tried thus far.
