Anyone tried this "Psoriasis Free For Life™"
« on: January 26, 2012, 01:14:25 PM »
Hi I'm Nat, new here but not to psoriasis. Was just wondering if anyone had tried or heard of this website....  (link removed.)..Sounds like the use a healthy diet and some remedies that you can find in your kitchen or easily buy on the Internet.  I haven't bought their stuff until I can find out more about them. When ever I try to find reviews for this website, I get taken to their website or someone advertising their website. A bit frustrating.

Anyways all the best and please comment here about it.

Nope.  And I won't.

Personal opinion?    Too much hype, no real info given.  Any outfit that wants you to buy but will not give any reasonable explanation of exactly what it is that you are buying is, in my opinion, not legit.  Testimonials?  Any good hack writer can whip those up.  Money back guarantee?  Only means something if the supplier honors it.

Wouldn't trust this any further than I can toss an anvil.  In my own researches, sites like this seem to be a dime a dozen.  Just another scammer looking to make a buck.  My opinion for whatever it is worth.
Getting better every day

I have to agree with Spotted owl : If it sounds too good to be true it probably is!

Looks like a rip off to me,

Even when you try to navigate away from the hideous web site it tries to make you stay by opening up a spammy pop up window...

my advice would be to avoid at all costs...

To be honest, I am not even very happy about leaving the link in place and we may have to remove this post....

lol, I'm not a spammer Mike. Not here to sell anything. But do agree my post could be mistaken for a spammer.

I have had this scourge of a condition (I never call it a disease) since my early twenty's luckily it didn't  affect my life on the dating scene, during relapses. But I love the outdoors, sports and especially swimming which I haven't done for sometime and these are the things I miss. Also not being able to wear a t-shirt or shorts in public is a killer.
I posted here to see if anyone had tried it, and got positive results. But agree with the posters here, I should probably stay away from it.

At the moment my skin is just boarder line manageable, just finished the creams the doctor prescribed along with the light machine (UVB?). It worked during the summer but its came back again. 2 weeks ago I started  juicing greens for breakfast and dinner while eating a healthy balanced lunch. I don't smoke but drink occasionally and normally eat clean, apart from a latte 1-2 times a week. My skin is far less flaky and looks to be improving, but still to early to tell.  I put it to my doctor that food was effecting my skin, but she said flat out almost insulted that food has nothing to do with psoriasis, I'm beginning to think the opposite.  ;)

His doc is telling a friend of mine that food has nothing to do with ulcerative colitis too - does that make sense to you?

I didn't see the original link, but I can imagine what it was like. I don't support anyone (or any entity) that tries to make money out of other peoples suffering. It isn't ethical.

I came across a youtube link, showing a South African guy with an extreme eczema condition, real sad! He wore rubber bands around his shirt cuffs and at the bottom of his jeans to stop the dry skin from leaving a trail behind him, no kidding, for real! So anyway the doctor gives him......wait for it, almost like the proverbial Snake oil, crocodile oil, well a skin balm made from crocodile oil! No kidding!
I'll give you the words to copy ad paste into youtube, that's if they don't get censored first!      'What is the best natural psoriasis treatment'

Anyway there are a few pieces in the media on the uses of crocodile oil etc for treatment of many different diseases, worth looking at and investigating.

Regards,

Nathan

Hmm crocodiles that reminds me of something...
Oh yes, Croc Fat Man who claimed croc fat was going to cure us all and listed it as a miracle cure on his site.  ::)
Though on further investigation it turned out he was a used car salesman by profession and yet another rip off merchant as far as we were concerned.

While Oils of various sorts can help  P,  they certainly don't cure it and it does seem unfair on the crocs and I can't say their skin looks any better than ours  :-\

As far as food goes it has got to be good for anyone to eat more healthily and it is plain from members experiences here that the diet approach can help some cope better with P and see an improvement in skin state, I say this because even when our skin is clear we still have P and the potential for flare ups over time  :(
Never underestimate the power of human stupidity.
