Bergamot arrived today so the trial starts tonight, will have to add the grapeseed later in week when it arrives. Probably a bit unfortunate to start this trial during a cold snap where my P is likely to get worse and sore anyhow? Oh well....

Good Luck Jamie. I've just ordered the Geranium Oil, I dont feel too sore (its my back that mainly feels the pain) at the moment so will wait on until its delievered then ill give it a right good go!

Oh yes, grapeseed oil here now, so that will be added from tonight, if the smells dont knock me out first! :)

Glad you said something Jam, I have been using mine for almost a week now - so far I can see a little difference but not much, however I have had to turn to the cream as the oil doesn't seem to stop the iching :(.

I think its worth a try, this is the first time I have used an alternative to the prescribed creams and whilst so far the bergamot oil hasn't quite been as erffective as I would have liked I am going to still use it for a few more weeks to see how it goes.

Agree Paul, def worth a try, as even just reading through the forum, different things work for different people so who knows till you do try! Will use up the bottles though aslong as things dont get worse as might take longer to have an effect. hope the itching goes Paul :)

Sorry Loretta, please be positive, as difficult as it is, and being a P sufferer for 25 of my 33 years on this planet, i can tell you its far to early for you to dismiss things you havent tried as other sufferers also read these forums and might form impressions from your comments and then not try different treatments that may work.

Also some of these different treatments are not expensive.

Hi all. can't tell if its good till when you try it...
has anyone heard of oil of cade. been browsing the french P***web site, someone claim, it worked on him.
cade oil (juniper oil), after a holyday in morocco, an old woman saw his P***, so got him to apply cade oil on it everyday, with in a couple of weeks, he was clear.
i've seen this oil, years ago, it stinks, very strong black thick oil like tar, the guy told me the nomads use it to seal the inside of there water carriers (like gerycan) made out of goats skin. anyway, i did bit googling, found that, it was used as a remedie for skin problems like eczema, psoriasis and other skin infections. here is a few links for cade oil, apparently its used in most cosmetics, psoriasis shampoos...creams.

Jam is right, I have read the forum and there seems to be hunderends of ways to clear P, but sadly they dont work for everyone; you do just have to pick one out that you think suits you and give it a go for about a month and see what hapens, never give up and never lose faifth.

I was speaking to a friend the other day who's husband suffers from P, she said that a week in the sun does the trick - but then again it comes back after a month or so.

Hi Gizzy, havent tried cade oil, but if you do please let us know how you get on. I will be into trying different oils once current ones run out and depending on results. Had a look at Cade oil/ Juniper on wiki -

Hi Paul, sun abroad worked nicely for me, but always came back when i got home. UK sun doesnt seem to have the same effect on me? ??? so have always thought of moving somewhere hot abroad, but will need a nice lady to heckle me into doing it! ;D

Here's a photo of my arm from earlier today, probably not the best photo as im c**p at photos and my phone is too small for my hands ;D As said before, moisterisor & coconut oil seems to be keeping the flakes to a minimum, so now really want to reduce the redness and ideally the patches
