My auntie has given me cider vinegar to help my psoriasis.

Anyone tried cider vinegar?

yes tried it,  many  years ago did'nt do  anythink for my p
got a lovely sun tan

and it smells better than dith/coaltar

Was advised by a friend with an interest in alternative remedies to drink a dessert-spoon of cider vinegar and a teaspoon of honey in a mug of hot water, twice a day.  (Yes, you CAN get used to the taste!)  Only in second week and no change yet, but will let you know if good things happen!

if it does not work for P i have heard that it is great to use as part of weight loss prog.

The guru of cider vinegar was Dr D.C. Jarvis. I have a copy of his book "Folk Medicine" sub titled "The honey and cider vinegar way to health" he probably wrote other books. I don't know if anything is currently in print, my book is the twelfth printing dated 1968 and the copyright is dated 1958.
According to Dr Jarvis cider vinegar is useful for lots of problems including increasing the weight gain of chickens but there is no mention of P in my book. However if any one is interested in cider vinegar it would be a good idea to look into Dr Jarvis's writings.

My mum used to make me take the stuff for a  cold or tonsile probs when i was young . I just thought it was terrible and she hated me lol.
