You will have to experiment to test your own tolerance levels.
I can only tolerate a teaspoon of oil. Any more and I will get a tummy ache. This has to do with my IBD.
There are several types of coconut oil available. Make sure you get the Food Grade type for eating, and not the Cosmetic type.
Food Grade can also be used as a body moisturiser.
Also make sure you get the Cold Pressed Certified Organic variety, as some of the other types use chemicals to extract the oil and also heat it at high temps, which of course kills off any nutrients.
Obviously expect to pay more for the purer stuff.
However, it is still classed as a saturated fat, so go easy on your consumption
I had pretty good results in 2008 from using it directly on my P as a body moisturiser.
I don’t eat the oil or use it for cooking. But I do drink unprocessed coconut water everyday and that seems to help keep my skin clear. I am currently buying two cases of coconuts a week and drinking on average two a day. Sometimes I scrape the flesh jelly from inside them to consume, sometimes not.
I have just made myself a coconut and raw cacao
