Scratchy, I wouldn't be too concerned.  Even if there is some contamination, which is highly doubtful, you are consuming only a very small quantity.  So I would go with it.  But then again, I ate British beef back in the days of the Mad Cow scare.  ::)

Hummmm, I guess you may be right, But, still, do you happen to know a kind of american website/UK website where products could be traced with details thanks to their narcode ?

Near the barcode, perpendicular to it there's this reference "P 02/11"      .... ?

That obviously sounds like a manufactured date, and I would guess P would represent some location code.  I can only suggest if you are really concerned that you contact the manufacturer, or iherb.com.  I once spoke with iherb.com tech support when a packaged arrived damaged.  The support guy was indeed very courteous and helpful.  And if you remain concerned you can always return the product for a refund (, or at least this is okay for American customers).

Dr's Best won't answer  :-\ Not a good thing I guess.

I won't ask for a refund, to send back the package would cost me more than the purchase price it self ...

I emailed my request to iherb with a picture of the "P 02/11". I really hope it refers to something like "Produced February 2011" lol
