Cryotheraphy for p
« on: November 24, 2011, 10:34:20 AM »
Has anyone on here tried cryotheraphy for their p? I am specifically looking for people in Germany and Poland where I believe this treatment is widely used. I know for a fact that this would probably help for those that have pa but I am interested in finding our how it affects p. I have tried it and it eased my back pain but now I am not sure if it made my p worse or not or if it was some other factors such as the cold I had over a week ago. Can't decide if I should try it again. (This is only done at 1 or 2 private hospitals in the UK. This is a new treatment which they are offering at a private hospital near to me. They has an open morning on sunday and were offering free trials).

Cryotheraphy is a chamber where the temperature is at least -80C. All the body can be exposed (depending on your preference) except the extremities and genitals (so you wear, hat , gloves, socks and shoes). The maximum exposure time is 3 minutes. You have to keep moving whilst in the chamber so that you don't freeze.
