I think a seperate thread for those who are trying Curcumin is a good idea - It will leave the "Curcumin - Stat 3 - Psoriasis" thread free for technical & research discussion.
I'll lead the way with my experiences thus far....
As I've stated elsewhere, I'm not a good guide to the efficacy of Curcumin's effect on P because I have been relatively free of P since going on a dairy free diet approx two years ago.
However, in the past, whenever I have resumed eating dairy, mainly cheese, my P begins to return about 2 weeks after resuming eating dairy.
Three weeks ago I began taking 3 x 500mg of Curcumin daily with food - At the same time I began to eat large quantities of various cheeses (I love the stuff) - So far to date there is no sign of my P returning - Actually I did have two very small patches of scalp P which disappeared about 2 weeks after commencing Curcumin.
At this stage that proves nothing to me - But it does seem promising - However, I'm sure that there will be far more better 'case studies' than me.
Of notable interest....
On the first day that I commenced taking Curcumin I experienced mild all over skin itching, which I never have suffered from previously - It did cease after the first day though (Can't be certain it was Curcumin related)
The other major effect, which I don't wish to trivialise & am indeed a little reluctant to mention, but in the scheme of revealing all....
I'm normally a fairly randy red-blooded male who experiences a goodly number of erections a day - However, since taking Curcumin, my daily rises have at least doubled

I'm almost certain that this effect has come from the Curcumin - I have never read anywhere that Curcumin has this effect, although I have read many accounts that Curcumin can increase blood flow & that could be the explanation - It will be interesting to see if any other guys experience this phenomenom.
It will also be interesting to hear if there is a corresponding female effect.
Feel free to add your experiences of taking Curcumin on this thread.
