Hi this is a question for Mattellie and Gareth, do you know when you will be getting the prices for Jordan for the Spring?  I need to go again this year.  Also, hubby may not be coming with me - are the taxis safe to and from the airport, I've never travelled alone in the Middle East?  Thanks again for all you do.

I will speak to Gareth soon and see what is happening re this years Dead Sea trips and once I have the info this will be posted as normal on the forum.

Travelling is safe, to be doubly sure you can book a car direct with the hotel and be met off the plane to save jumping in just any old taxi. You can also try and tie in with others and share the transfer cost.

Just a reply regarding the taxis from the airport to the deadsea. The official taxis from the airport are perfectly safe and are a fixed price/fare. You will be advised of the price and be given a docket at the airport with the price already on it so no worries of rip off. You will see the taxi kiosk just inside the door of the airport or else you just walk to the taxis outside the door and you will get the docket. The official airport taxis are a cream color and are of excellent standard, clean etc and the process is without worries. Most dispatchers and drivers speak some english. Getting a taxi from the airport is considerably cheaper than booking a car via the hotel.
