Dead Sea Packages
« on: August 14, 2011, 02:56:49 PM »
Hello people

Can any of you give advice on taking a break to the Dead Sea to help with psoriasis? Have some specific questions:
1. Is there a particular resort or place that has a particular schedule for those with psoriasis?
2. How long to go for? ie is 1 week long enough?
3. Do most people go on their own or as a couple? ie would i feel isolated going on my own?
4. What have your results been like and how long were you there for?
5. How much does it cost?
6. Any other advice?

Looking forward to hearing your comments.
Joanna :)

You can go to either Jordan or Israel.
I believe that there is a guy on here called mettalie who has good rates for hotel in Jordan.
I can put you in touch with someone for good rates for hotels in Israel.
You can book flights separately Easyjet fly to both destinations.
Depending on how long you go for will depend on the price. I believe 3 weeks including flight's should cost around £3,000 although having said that I went to Israel with my husband for just under 2 weeks and we paid £2,000 flights and hotel half board.

The reason the dead sea works so well isn't just to do with the sun, which always helps psoriasis anyway, but because of the minerals and mud in the water.

Meh i don't go along with that imho it IS all to do with the sun
как я рад что на зубах нет кожи :-)

I agree. The sun contributes prob around 90-95% the sea minerals and mud 5-10% at
most.

The only product that helps my psoriasis is Dead Sea Magik stuff. It works amazingly well on my father in law as well who has 70% coverage, even better than prescription stuff. I know someone who has p and it didnt help her, but for me its fab  :)
