Pags,

Basically the diet involves cutting out peppers, aubergines, tomatoes, potatoes and tobacco (if you smoke).
You also have to avoid processed food and junk food. Drink lots of water, fruit and herbal teas or decaf tea and coffee (black. You are allowed the occasional glass of wine.

Each day's food should be split into 80/20.
The 80% is comprised of fruit and veg.
The other 20% is made up of a combination of bread, pasta etc, meat (white meat, fish and lamb), and dairy.

There are several supplements that he suggests you try as well, although you could start off without them.

For me this works - although not everyone has had the success I have. My thinking is that if you don't try it you'll never know!

Pags, for detox I recommend Carol Vorderman's Detox for Life book. You can buy it on Amazon, only about a tenner I think.

Hi Emma

This is what I was looking for :)

The diet my mum and I followed years ago cut out dairy, citrus fruit and red meat.

I can pretty much live with my P as it isn't anywhere near as bad as it used to be, but I'm open to suggestions.  I've recently changed to soya milk and I'm giving cheese a rest (more for my weight loss than anything else - in a previous life I was a mouse ;) ) but I eat cherry tomatoes and a couple of clementines every day and I have jacket potatoes and probably a stirfry at least once a week, which usually contains peppers.

Thanx for the info

Kaz
