Diet & Supplements
« on: January 22, 2012, 02:15:50 PM »
Hey

Ive been having some success with clearing up my psoriasis with diet and supplementing.  Has anyone else as well?

Have had P for 7-8 years now, creams and whatever else hasn't worked.  Then my sister got colitis, a auto-immune
disease.  She decided to try to beat it with a diet change, and it worked.  My cousin has also had colitis and took
steroids instead, and things havent gone well for him.  But my sister beat it with diet alone.  So I thought I would
try the same with P, being that it is also a auto-immune disease.

Not really sure if I am on the right track, but I must be somewhat because when I am good and don't cheat then it starts
clearing after 2-3 weeks, slowly though.

Ive basically tried to stay away from sugar and flour.  Not sure about dairy products though, thoughts anyone?
Also trying to get more veggies in my diet, I do this by juicing them.  And I try to stay away from most processed
foods.

Maybe psoriasis is an affect of bad food quality, over-processed and nutrient poor.  I don't know though, just a thought.

I would appreciate a discussion around this!
