I checked weightlifting, but weight training is what I used to do. I decided that after many years going to the gym i was knowledgeable enough to perform training at home, plus gym fees were getting to expensive

, much cheaper to buy the equipment so every mon/wed and fri were my trainig days with a split routine. unfortunately i had to store my bench and weights etc in my mums garage on the birth of my son 3 years ago, the spare room now has a new occupier

Never did get back to the gym, but my work involves constant walking and standing for pretty much 8 hrs a day. I know I'm pretty fit still, as recent doctors checkups have blood pressure recroded at 120/80 at age 42, the same at age 37. with a high blood oxygen level ( i cant remember what the reading was but i remember the nurse suggesting it was a reading for someone 10 years younger)
I think my work keeps me 'fit' and i believe this helps keep my p down. the difference between regular exercising and generally keeping fit is a question for someone more skilled than i, but my p didn't get worse when i stopped weight training, in fact, the stresses and concentration involved in weight training often set me itching with the changing of temperatures. this mybe why your p gets better in summer ( we all get better in summer anyways ) less of a tempchange in between reps n sets.
so basically, i walk a lot lol.
