Could you tell precisely during how much time and how many times do you work out then?

Hi

I usually lift weights 2-3 times a week and circuit train once and jog once a week, all for about an hour each session.

Lifting weights usually makes my P (Especially on my arms) much redder and at times I reckon worsened it (on my arms).

Jogging I'm not sure about as, yes, my P is usually bright red/ purple afterwards, but normal after a good soak.

In the winter if my P is naturally sore, then any kind of sweating feels like (i imagine) acid running over my skin!!

I exercise, both weightlifting and cardio, most every day.  This was true before I developed psoriasis, and it is true today.  And I will say exercising seems to have zero effect on my psoriasis, although perhaps if I stopped all exercise my condition would worsen.

I checked weightlifting, but weight training is what I used to do. I decided that after many years going to the gym i was knowledgeable enough to perform training at home, plus gym fees were getting to expensive  :(, much cheaper to buy the equipment so every mon/wed and fri were my trainig days with a split routine. unfortunately i had to store my bench and weights etc in my mums garage on the birth of my son 3 years ago, the spare room now has a new occupier   ;D

Never did get back to the gym, but my work involves constant walking and standing for pretty much 8 hrs a day. I know I'm pretty fit still, as recent doctors checkups  have blood pressure recroded at 120/80 at age 42, the same at age 37. with a high blood oxygen level ( i cant remember what the reading was but i remember the nurse suggesting it was a reading for someone 10 years younger)

I think my work keeps me 'fit' and i believe this helps keep my p down. the difference between regular exercising and generally keeping fit is a question for someone more skilled than i, but my p didn't get worse when i stopped weight training, in fact, the stresses and concentration involved in weight training often set me itching with the changing of temperatures. this mybe why your p gets better in summer ( we all get better in summer anyways ) less of a tempchange in between reps n sets.

so basically, i walk a lot lol.
