DR. Ali - Bible
« on: June 07, 2004, 10:43:04 PM »
Has anybody tried the Dr Ali nutrition bible?
I was also thinking of having a consultation.

He recommends keeping away from sugar, yeast etc.

I've now bought some yeast free vitamin tablets.  I didn't realise how yeast was present in so many of our foods.
Sugar is difficult for me to give up though but will try to cult down.
My hands are still very bad and really upsetting me.

Sorry about your Hands,UVB cleared mine up.Hate it when the P's visible....This DR Ali..has he been on the Telly, going on about Food Intolerance..(Not food Allergy)?
If its the same guy,he might be worth a look.He told Richard (of Richard & Judy) that he was intolerant of some food or another, made him eat it,then after Richard went pretty weak.
 So,maybe there's something in it.

I tried cutting out refined sugars from my diet - stuck to wholemeal bread and pasta that sort of thing - can't say if it made any difference because i'm ashamed to say I just didn't have the willpower to drastically change my diet.  Although one good thing did come out of it and that is that we are eating a lot healthier now because we stuck to the wholemeal bread and pasta and rice etc a lot more than previously.
