Droitwich Spa
« on: March 15, 2005, 05:59:47 PM »
Has anyone used the Droitwich Spa?? A friend of mine has RA and was recommended it by her GP.
It's supposed to have the minerals in it the same as the Dead Sea (not natural, of course) and is like a big indoor swimming pool. It does actually sit over a natural spring, and there are other facilities such as massage etc.
She has been quoted as £14 for 2 people to "take the waters" but don't know if there is a time limit on this.
Has anyone ever been there, and if so, is it any good? ::)
How long is it till I can retire??

Stewart_H thanks for that. My husband suffers with back problems, and me with my P, I am seriously thinking of booking us a day out there for his birthday in September.
It sounds really relaxing!
