Yeah do, mine was only £25. and its great! Theres a great book called 'Superjuice' its got loads of recipes for juices and tells you whats good for what. But I sometimes make my own up depending what I;ve got in, but tend to stick to the celery and cucumber one!

Well done Alibird, thats fantastic!

post from alibird - I did this for 3 months and my skin cleared completely for the first time in 15 years!! I really stuck to the diet though, no bread, pasta, etc, I had 1 glass of wine at the weekend as a treat. It was tough but good results....

It sounds like it is worthwhile that I try.  I am wondering which food groups should I reintroduce first when I start eating everything again?  I think dairy would be the easiest to dee if there is a reaction.

So far after 5 days I have not seen any difference except for less swelling in the evening when it is the worst.

Interesting reading here.  Well done to those who are sticking with the strict eating regime.

Stewart, I tend to agree with you that P/PA are caused by some mal-function of the liver.  I had jaundice when I was 6 and was quite ill for sometime.  I remember not being allowed any fried food or eggs and had to eat malt - quite disgusting!  To this day I cannot put a glass of milk near my mouth, it just turns my stomach.

I remember having, what I now know, was P in my scalp when I was young but was not diagnosed until I was in my 20s.

I've had visitors again this week and had more red wine than I should have had last  night and boy have I suffered today.  My whole body is so stiff and sore today.  I'm walking like an 80 year old again.

Back on the water again - a slice of lemon and some ice - muy buen!

Take care everyone
