I have palmar plantar pustulosis of  both feet.  Has anyone tried Garra Rufa fish?  It sounds like quite a good idea.

For goodness sake, when are going to leave the poor fish alone? The sooner this is banned in the UK the better. It's been discussed a number of times on this site. Search and see...

Hi Maria.

I didn't look in boots but it seems it is the urea content in the balm that helps. Flexitol has 25%
Keeping everything crossed for you.

Hi Maria.
Glad to hear you've had some improvement. I've had a couple of new cracks develope but   I will keep going with
the balm.   My hands are not too good but I go to Spain for a month on 27th and I am sure this will do the trick
as my skin always improves when I come back from there. I am sure there are a lot of people worse than me so I
don't let it get me down. Keep your chin up. XX. Maureen

Bacterial infections

The report looked at a number of specific harmful bacteria, including those that cause salmonella and legionnaires’ disease. Generally, these were deemed to be of low risk as they would not be ingested or would need broken skin to cause infection.

However, certain bacteria were identified as posing a greater risk of infection. For example, Staphylococcus aureus might infect people’s skin if they have eczema or psoriasis. Also, a type of bacteria called Mycobacterium marinum, which is associated with fish tanks and non-chlorinated swimming pools, could cause boils if transferred into broken skin.
