Hello folks

I just got a leaflet with the ecologist mag that I subscribe too (Good reliable mag) called

that sells hemp products inc oil and capsules as disscussed in recent posts so hope it is useful I'm gonna check it out!!

is another one ... I emailed them about their nutritional oil and Rowan (who replied) said she used the oil as a scalp treatment herself. They sell 500ml for £10.95 which seems an excellent price!

Tis an excellent price. Hemp seed oil has no aroma, is light and easily absorbed and doesn't seem to leave a greasy residue. Excellent for scalp treamtents!

I know as a P-sufferer, I'm supposed to look at the oils and cream and stuff, but I went straight to the fabrics section

I had seen hemp clothes before and fell in love with the look (looks like linen) and the feel (feels extremely soft, like silk or viscose) - so it's great news that the fabric can be gotten in itself

Not being a proper P person here, am I?

Just one thing can i ask about using hemp treatments , I get drug tested every so often so would these products show up on my wee!!!! I dont wanna get court martialled for rubbing some oil in my bonce!!!! :'(

Rob mate, its ok to use hemp base products, only consuming THC(tetrahydrocannabinol) which is the chemical in pot which gets you high, has to be present to show on a drugs test. These products do not contain this chemical, otherwise i'm sure i'd have devised a way of getting high off them

So yer ok to use away!

I don't think it works like that, it has to be in your system and hemp products have the thc taken out or acutually they do not hemp for the thc as thc is the pscho active bit that gets you stoned.

hemp and canabis are not exactly the same if you smoke hemp you just get a head ache.
though if you eat poppy seeded bread you test positive for heroin (scary-but true)

I spoke to the hempgarden.co.uk yesterday. The guy rang me because I'd emailed to ask about when to expect delivery. What a nice place! Based in Cornwall and he certainly knows all about hemp and its beneficial effect on eczema and psoriasis. And he said they'd recently had a big run on orders!!! I said it was probably because we were all talking hemp at the moment ......

As Jo has pointed out there are other suppliers of hemp oil.
The body shop obviously wants to do without our custom
