I am not alone...
« on: July 25, 2005, 01:35:52 PM »
Hi ya all

This is my fist visit to this site and its amazing I really thought that I was the only one with P. I am not alone!

I have read quite a few posts re: the Lush products eg Dream Cream and am going to buy some and try it out.

I am using the Green People products at the moment, the Rosemary Shampoo seems to working well for my scalp so fair (You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login).

Have any of you had Ayurvedic treatment for P? I am thinking of going to India the treatment is for about 30 days but is quite expensive £1100 for just the treatment. But like everything there is no guarantee... fingers crossed :-*

hiya amba and welcome

i think its a great help to know that there are people out there who know exactly what u are going through

i would strongly reccomend trying the lush dream cream - its been a godsend, the best thing ive used and i know that alot of peole have had success with it, however u have to remember different things work for different people, so dont be downhearted if dont get results with it, there'll be something for you

ive never heard of the green people products or the ayurvedic either. i have p bad on my scalp so i might give the green people stuff a go

hope u find something ;D

Rachael

I always love walking past the Lush shops the smell is just to die for, but I didn't realise that they would be any good for sensitive / problem skin, thought that it would be full of horrid chemicals etc...#

The Green People product are really mild and I recommend the Sun Lotion...

Well gonna research more on the ayurvedic treatment, I let you know what I find

Hi amba and welcome,

What does ayurvedic treatment entail, and why do you have to go to India for it?

Ayuvedic is an old indian traditional for treating all kinds of illness / problems...

There are centres in the Uk that do this but is triple the price plus I presume that the therapists in India are trained in the 'proper' traditional way?

Im still reseraching into this.... I let you know what I find

Hi Amba,

Love the name is it your real name?

Never heard of the Indian treatment, but will be visiting India next year on my RTW 8)

I will be posting a post soon with regards to RTW travel and to see if anyone else is interested.

Please tell if you find any info with regards to p.

Are these Lush shops on every high street? What is the best cream to use?

Thanks,

Mickey ;)
