That's hugely interesting news... I have at least two relatives who suffer badly with their back.. so I will pass on the 'good word' to them... Eileen

On a lighter note, my husband is used to gathering me up from the 'lower pistes' of our bed at about 6:30am where I have somehow slid down during the night!

E

that made me laugh cause My girl does the same. I think we need a bigger bed.  ;D

I have 'contaminated' my experiment by trying every other alternative option on this board, so it may be difficult to ever clarify what one thing made a difference. Skin is very good this evening so I am upbeat... However, I think this therapy is hugely helpful in the overall 'armour' of one's attack on P, and as I said previously my bed is staying raised.. E

Hey Eileen

Happy your skin is doing well, out of interest what did you do to your bed to elevate it?

Im trying to find a couple of very thick Yellow pages directories...

Have an elderly futon.. so we have basically wrecked it... Husband screwed 6" pieces of timber to raise to the base (at our head) and then screwed the other moveable elements rigid so that it cannot bow... and then basically made any other weak points stronger with screws and or pieces of wood.. However, Andrew has made some suggestions at the beginning of this thread... ie pieces of Wavin pipe for the bed legs or just pieces of wood like old shelves etc.... Skin even better this evening...E

My son just popped in so I asked him how Helen is doing not having heard from her for a few weeks. She is experiencing a flare up in her psoriasis at the moment. We have recently had a change in the weather with heavy rain, generally damp and I suspect this may have something to do with the flare in her P. Obviously I need to talk to her to find out more before drawing any conclusions but I will keep you all posted as soon as I have had chance to see Helen.

RE psoriatic arthritis. Yes I believe IBT can help. After Penny recovered from this conditions, I have been trying to get others to see if they can repeat her remarkable progress. Penny is the lady pictured and featured in the Womans Realm Magazine.

But you must also help me if we are to prove this point. We need photographic evidence to prove it and some reports on progress in this thread.

Hi Andrew

My P was steadliy getting worse with no diet restriction,  and no meds,  only IBT,  which ive been doing for over a month now. P has only got worse not better,  so now m back on my siddha med and no salt diet, as i cant just sit back and rely on IBT only without diet restriction.

Thanks for the update Muz

Wasn't your Psoriasis on a down-turn before you tilted the bed, possibly due to diet changes? 4 weeks didn't really produce any results with psoriasis it is over a longer timescale that we are hoping to see a steady positive trend, but within the first 4 weeks several people have noticed other changes that are positive. Nevertheless I am grateful for your feedback and hope you will continue with I.B.T. Helen noticed significant improvements after 2 months. People with psoriatic arthritis have reported improvements anter 1 day of I.B.T. I anticipate 3 months before we will see some significant improvements fom those who have decided to put this theory to the test.

My research into multiple sclerosis identified relapsing remiting trends towards high humidity, and using a dehumidifier confirmed it was humidity / damp conditions that agravated M.S. the worst.

This is why we need more people on this study in order to determine how it affects a large group of people so we can account for variables. Relapsing remiting psoriasis is not unusual either. I suspect weather changes plays an important roll. If this can be related to high humidity, then we can address this by using a dehumidifier in conjunction with I.B.T.

Hang on in there Muz

Andrew
