Hi Andrew,

We fixed our futon over the weekend, and properly raised the bed the 5-6", prior to this the futon sagged a little in the middle which I know is completely wrong as the incline would not be consistent from the top to the bottom... sorry the decline I suppose...
I reported to you last week that I thought my psoriasis had worsened... it seems to be stabilising again, but I do think that my scalp p is reducing or at minimum very stable... Scalp is not the worst part of me.. but I was scratching my scalp more than now... So, we will continue.. Husband's sinus seems to be at least temporarily gone, certainly he has had none to report since we raised the bed... we are both sleeping marvellously well and waking extremely fresh in the morning... for this alone it is worth it.... I will post again in a week or so.  Eileen

Quick update... Unfortunately not so good today... I have just spotted 4 small dots of new placques on my left hand which are like small pimples.. but I know they are new patches.. so a bit fed up that I still seem to be flaring.. I am still doing the oil pulling therapy in conjunction with the raised bed... but to keep my spirits up I am working on the basis that my skin is getting worse before it gets better.... Basically my skin has been flaring for over a year now all new spots and none of them receding... So, my theory of dis-improvement before improvement is just about keeping me sane... Was like an armadillo around the house today, skin everywhere... a pity we can't be like a snake and just shed one entire skin and then get on with our lives for a few months...

Hi Eileen Thank you for the update.

RE: Left hand. Do you sleep with this hand elevated, under your pillow or near your face?

What about the arm/hand that is not affected?

Regards Andrew

I think I favour sleeping on my left, certainly when I am dropping off.  Elevated or otherwise.. not sure.

Have to say... psoriasis aside, I wouldn't change my bed back again... too many small improvements in our general well being... none of them 'scientifically proveable'... but anecdotally I am very content with my bed.. Dry eyes... was suffering from them quite a bit and this was a worry because I had the Lasik surgery conducted on both eyes.. and i had been warned that my dry eyes might get worse... Well they had been, until almost the first night we raised the bed... Skin?  Well not such an immediate improvement..

i have been doing this since June/july and while i dont really see any improvement related to the skin that i can credit it to the IBT because i am doing other stuff too. On the other hand my girlfriend who has had serious back toruble to do with disks over the past year and a half has found i amazing. She was faced with possable surgery andcould not walk properly. I had to go to hospital with her in streams of tears and had to get steroid tablets to get rid of the pain. Now she is great. Can walk properly. has little to no pain and she amazed the physio when she saw her last.

Fair play Andrew for this information. I hope it continues for my girl.

Might recommend this to my mum. She has problems with her joints.

That's hugely interesting news... I have at least two relatives who suffer badly with their back.. so I will pass on the 'good word' to them... Eileen

On a lighter note, my husband is used to gathering me up from the 'lower pistes' of our bed at about 6:30am where I have somehow slid down during the night!
