Indian treatment with PUKKA HERBS
« on: November 08, 2006, 07:37:09 PM »
This is a repost of the PUKKA HERBS post which seems tohave died below.

JJ has had good reusults using ALOE VERA juice (drink) and Neem & Sarsaparilla.
It took about a month to get results.

Neem & Sarsaparilla
The herbs in this formula are sweet and bitter. They are renowned for having a cooling and soothing effect. Use for skin inflammations when they are red, sore, oozing and itchy; including eczema, psoriasis, acne and rosacea.

Anyone considering it I would recommend using the below herb aswell to stimulate good digestion.

Triphala - bowel tonic
Triphala is the most famous Ayurvedic formula. A mixture of three fruits (Amla, Haritaki and Bibhitaki), it is used to cleanse the whole system by regulating the bowels. Amla helps to regulate the liver and bowel. Haritaki literally means the 'remover of diseases'. It helps to promote bowel movements as well as toning the muscles of the intestines. The third fruit, Bibhitaki, helps to maintain healthy mucus membranes. This is the best remedy for mild constipation and regulating the whole digestive system.

Hi JJ,

I'm glad you have found the pukka products helpful.
I have also used the organic aloe vera juice & triphala & it does help a lot - I can't remember how long I was on it but I don't think I was taking them both at the same time  ::)
I can't remember if it was Triphala or Triphala plus that I took - I think that one has added extras like Psyllium & linseed for digestion.

Would really help if I were to be consistent instead of flitting about! xx

Im currently using the aloe vera juice.

Neem - for skin
Boswellia and turmeric - for PA

So far so good. My skin is very much in control.
I have notice my normal skin which is P free is also looking better, more radiant and clear.

I have been on it for 2 months now, You must use it continusly for atlease 3-4 weeks before you see the difference as it cleans inside out.

Worth a try...its working for me.

Good luck.
Live life to its fullest , for tomorrow comes only too soon.

I suggest you could add CURCUMIN 98 extract (see my curcumin thread) i think u might knock it on the head completely seeing as u r doing so well. curcumin turns off the oversensitive inflamatory response apparently.

u take 6 a day (2 x 2 meals = 3 grammes)
turns off the STAT3 which causes the inflamation (we believe)
in the past we gopt the dose wrong for more severe cases.

i would say in order of importance for psoriasis change i would try curcumin, triphala plus, then the neem one.
all three = super chance of doing something good hopefully

I am waitiing for some Aloe Vera to be delivered.

My ttrial of the Indian 'Herbal' Treatment has now ceased. I got excellent results extremely fast. I suspect steroids and am trying to get the cream tested .

What amounts of the juice and the other capsules do you reccomend

Extremely fast treatment in the shape of a topical cream does generally indicate a steroid.....

well 3 grammes of curcumin from the site i posted = 6 tablets a day
there is alot of research that suggests curcumin can really help.
you wouldnt need the trumeric tablets above as curcumin is an extract of that.

so u would need curcumin, neem and triphala plus.

for the two tablets from pukkaherbs i would just follow the bootle instructions unless our main "preety P not" upped the doseage ?
