Juicing and diet worth the effort!
« on: March 04, 2004, 04:46:17 PM »
Hi all!  It's been a while since I have posted a topic on here.  I bought a very expensive juicer last summer and despite my good intentions I did not use it quite as often as I intended.

I truly believe that I can clear my skin up if I can change my lifestyle.  Eat loads of fruit and veg, exercise regularly, learn to deal with stresses better.  But for it to work I also know that I have to commit to some drastic life changes.  These include stopping smoking, stopping drinking, cutting out the fatty, sugary, processed rubbish I live on.  I have never had the resolve to implement such a programme even for a month.

Anyway, I discovered this book on Juicing last week which renewed my interest.  The guy who wrote the book is called Jason Vale and was a long term sufferer of psoriasis.  He claims juicing and some serious changes to his lifestyle have quite literally changed his life.

I recommend you follow the link below.  I would be interested to see what you think.  After reading his book I am completely sold on his philosophy. I am 100% sure I can eliminate the majority of my psoriasis if I juice and cut out the harmful habits in my life.

Let me know what you think.

The link to his psoriasis page on his website is as follows:

Hi Eric

If you look back a couple of pages there was a thread started on 11th February by Kevali on this.

Anyway, good luck and hope it works for you.

I know a healthy diet can be beneficial to us but I find
" COMING SOON - THE 'HOW TO CLEAR PSORIASIS, ECZEMA AND ACNE' 30 DAY PROGRAMME"
Unbeliveable unsubstanciated  and untested.

Hi Eric,

Nice to hear from you again, are you keeping well?

Good luck with the juicing mate, I know how much you believe in it. If you manage to give up booze, ciggies, sugar and fatty foods in one go, you would deserve to get shot of your p for ever. ;D

As for me, I would never have the will power. I am afraid it is back to that favourite place of yours in May for me.....the dreaded roof!! 8) ;)

I think that believing something will work and having the commitment and motivation to try it is half the battle.

A lot of people are sceptical about the authors of books like these - but their routines DO work for some people.

Good luck with the regime Eric - I hope you have success with it.
