kalawalla
« on: February 09, 2006, 10:02:15 AM »
Hi i joined this forum yesterday and thank you for all your welcomes.

I didn't mention that i am 1 month into a course of Kalawalla (polypodium leucotomos) .  It's not done much yet but apparently it can take up to 3 months to work.  Has anyone else tried this?  It is quite expensive, but is easy to use as it is in tablet form.  Thanks in advance :)

no i found it myself and ordered it.  will let u know how i get on.

Also been using dovonex for last 5 or so years.  Find this absolutely fantastic if you are prepared to put it on twice a day for a month or so.  I've recently had another child and found my day too stressful to be putting all these creams on, hence me looking for an oral alternative.  Anyway, Dovonex is brilliant if you've got patience and of course if it suits you.

Hi there Rachel

I used Kallawalla (actually another brand name called Immunotrax but identical and probably cheaper!)  I did it for about six months and mine has almost gone.  However i did a few other things in combination.  Check out my thread on

HOW I THINK I CURED MY PSORIASIS

Hope it helps

cheers EileenT ;)
Being complicated and expensive doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna work!!

i had the most revolting looking nails but on hols in crete met a derm who suggeste rubbing dovonex into them once a day and reduce as it gets better, it worked wonders for me. i only have to top up now and again.
