Hi Miamidude,
I just tried this this evening and plan to continue.
I just noticed though that a whole bag of spinach makes up very little juice, like only half a glass?
Is that correct?
Its not the cheapest at £1 a bag here in the UK, but I'll continue anyway
regards

Hi Spotted Girl

The idea is not to juice as you will get hardly anything out of that.
I blend mine in a blender at the moment and add water and drink. It does not liquidize it as much as a smoothie maker which i was using before much easier to drink this way. But my smoothie maker has broke down, need to get a new one.

I believe what miamidude was doing was blending with water then straining the green liquid off that and drinking.

I have not seen any dramatic improvement, like i said i had light treatment and was pretty clear, So has been coming back gradually, not as bad as it was before.
I have noticed when i do this constantly for even a week I am less itchy, and my skin feels smooth.

Thanks Colsta.
Yeah I guess I could put it in a blender instead and fill with water, but in the end, isnt it just the same amount of juice?
I would just be eating more of the 'bits'
Not sure what to do for the best.

If you then pour it through a fine sieve then you will have no bits, for me i do not mind them and I feel like I am getting more of the good qualities out of the veg.
miamidude does not do this, and he is still getting good results so it is down to preference.
I did originally try to put mine through my juicer but the minute juice you get out of it is not really worth
it. I doubt you would get any benefit from juicing its not really the type vegetable you can juice.

I have started adding carrots, celery, and apples to my blend was getting bored with the taste.
still drinking around 2 pints most days but am missing the odd day.
I want to work into my daily routine for the long term so it is going well.

I think I will try this - have tried everything else!

About 6 months ago or so, I finally switched my diet from vegan (Dr. McDougall) to Paleo.

Yowsers, what a complete change!  My psoriatic arthritis was getting worse and worse - little did I know that all those beans and legumes I was eating just made things worse for me.

Fast forward to today - the psoriasis is almost cleared, the arthritis is still there but to a very minor degree.  My scalp still itches some, but not nearly as bad as it was.  Anyway, I am hoping this spinach mixture will clear it all up.

It sounds like you dump the bag into a blender (that's a LOT) and add water until it blends.  It also sounds like that mixture will then make enough for more than one day...maybe 3 days.  I like the idea of tossing in a stalk of celery now and then for a change.

I'll keep you all posted.

Yes, add spinach to the blender and then fill to the top with water. It makes about 3 days worth. It is only good for that long as well (it starts to really get gross after that, it should only be taken fresh).

Green Drink really helps to PREVENT psoriasis. It took about six months for my existing psoriasis to completely heal. Also, It's very important that you do all three steps 1) Green Drink 2) Moisturize 3) Remove Irritants. If I just do the green drink, it's not as effective. I find that the dust mites are a huge problem for me and if I don't wash my linens and spray then I get small outbreaks.

My scalp was extremely tricky. Even with green drink i had bad outbreaks. I found out that the primary cause was the hair spray I was using. I switched to Fiber by Crew. I also started using conditioner called BED HEAD MOISTURE MANIAC CONDITIONER. Oh man, I have zero scalp problems now and it's wonderful. I only use one soap, BiorE Blemish Fighting Ice Facial Cleanser, on my face, hair (i mix it with the conditioner), and body. Just be aware of what your putting on your body that can be an irritant.

so glad this has worked for you miamdude some of yours has worked for me too especially subject matters ie green drink conditioning etc

1) Green Drink

jason vale recommends this drink for psoriasis & yes after 6 months i can say no new spots appear and existings ones recover. my juicer oscar 900 i use 2 apples 1 celery stick 1 handful large spinach half a cucumber - take juice and add to blender with half a large  avocado 2 handful of ice add 2 tablespoon of lectitjon granules blend for 45 secs add to glass add 1 cap of udo oil

Drawbacks/Complaints: none - absiolley beautiful
Taste:

2) Moisturize

in the shower use hydromol only got this stuff 3 months ago and omg previous p patches that thought i was scarred have gone this is on the nhs & if you have pp card then its free but you need to put hydromol in a support and tie at both ends so it acts like a sponge - this gives you all over moisturiser = i then use salcura intesive on the 2 patches i have then put blovs of doublbase to seal your p i s then not red it goes pink to nothing

Scalp:

i have been using head and shoulders - must be cool mentol or itchy scalp as a backup - if your scalp is that bad then you need cocois & a dermo comb to get rid of dry skin - believe me i last used cocois years and year ago and the dermo comb 10 years plus so its the head & shoulders that have deinatley been there for my scalp - like everything guys it takes time & perserverance but with the right tools esoecially these ones your scalp can be free of skin and redness

3) Eliminate Irritants

Bed:
Wash your sheets regularly. agreed defo i wash with fairy - had a breakout some time ago with persil so everything swapped out to fairy

vitamins 50mg zinc 1 multi vit 1 high dosage fish oil

drink water and yes i even have wine and lager now..

Is it ok to have a mixed meal for the breakfast, i mean a glass of blended spinach and other food ? Or is it better to have only blended spinach ?

Where is the cure in all of this ?
This just implies another diet and nothing to do with the skin.
