 fantastic start Alison.

You might not see much difference on your skin though as ou have some "guilty" ingredient ( that I know off)
- peppers
- citrus fruit

But it is still very good going. And well done for being off the ciggy.

You should be VERY proud of yourself Ali  :-*

Hi Alison
Can I add my congrats to those above :D, and also my own words of 'warning' :(

The first is to mention that wonderful concept.......sustainability. In my own recent healing process, rather than go for a dramatic detox such as you are undertaking i made a decision about which foods were healthy for me to eat on a regular basis and which were unhealthy. Having made that decision I pretty much stuck to that regime for the following 3 mths, with just one indulgence (a sugar/lemon pancake) in all that time  :)

The great thing was that after only 2 weeks or so i started seeing unmistakable signs that the p was on the wane.......i would wake up each morning and eagerly turn on the light to see how much improvement there had been since the previous morning. So it seemed for me that a consistent and sustainable diet was the key (altho i also preceded this change of diet with an intestinal cleansing program).

What i have noticed since then is that when, for various reasons, i allowed myself to indulge in just a few 'naughties' over a period of just a week, the p showed almost immediate signs of returning. :'(

The good thing about this however is that with such a rapid feedback of symptoms and triggers, it gives even more encouragement to stick to the healthy foods.

So, to cut a long story short...........are you really going to have that apple crumble and custard on sunday?? (and the roasties??)  ;)

with very best wishes for your healing
