Ended up giveing up last night , after getting headaches and aches around my neck and shoulders couldnt shake them off and to be honest felt quite faint at work yesturday ,decided was time to stop. how i didnt pass out after 2hrs roller skateing wed night i dunno

so last night had half a jacket spud(yep dreaded potatoes) with tuna and salad, wernt much but god i enjoyed every mouthful :-)

got me wrists slapped at work, warned that id make myself ill, apparently detox only ment to be over 3 days??? i thought was ment to be week long?? o well spose thats down to the individual ,

I havent noticed any improvement to my p , to be honest didnt think i would after such a short time just thought id clear me system out ,lol dunno if ive done that ...only been no2 once this week :-/ , only diff i have noticed is my face complexion seems alot clearer and my scales are weighing me in at 7lbs lighter, so ideal if you want quick rapid weight loss.

decided tho that yep i will take a bit more notice of what i eat, more fruits n veggies and have proved to meself that i can drink lotsa water , tho me 1st coffee of this morning is going down well if not a little strong., read that the headaches are due to caffine withdrawals , and yep i know i drink to may cups of the stuff a day

dunno if id do it again to be honest, 1st 3 days seemed easyish like mayb cos on a high and trying to prove to myself that i can do something that ment to be healthy.

think to be honest its a bit to like whats the word radical ,extreme harsh regime to me , i do like my foods , good and bad ones, so think il just go with a more healthy eating thingy, and only do the detox when i dont like what me bathroom scales have to say , haveing said that tho lol i do feel good about myself manageing to go that long with it tho a bit peeved that i couldnt manage the next 2 days.

think basicly have proved to meself that yep i can just eat fruits mentally but me body telling me it needs other things too., mayb in smaller portions but all is needed.

so yep i will be haveing apple crumble n custard but il also be haveing less roasties and more veggies on me plate , balance it all out , end of the day i reckon that sums it up , its about getting the right balance a little bit of everything

Alison,

I went on a diet once and ate a lot of fruit, I got the worst migrane ive ever had in my life and had to take a full week off work.  I only eat fruit now the odd time.

Great news Ali if you are going to have more veg and fruit in your diet.

And if you can combine that with avoiding as much as possible processed food and ciggy then that would be a double bonus.

I'm following the "Healing Diet " right now and have beenon it for the last 2 weeks or so. I have had no withdrawal aches or headache because I had limited alcohol, caffein and junk food intake for a long time before.

Also it takes months, sometime over a year for a healthier diet to have a positive effect on your skin. You've got to commit for the long haul to make it work. So keep it up

Good luck and see you soon  ;)

well done for sticking out as long as u did. i only ever detox for 2 days at a time.

I use to drink loads of coffee but gradually cut it down and replaced it with fruit teas but now I tend to drink warm water now. Luckily the headaches do fade but they can really hurt.

If your gonna do a diet, its best to gradually change your diet and then stick to it. Not go on a diet but 'change' your diet.

Rather than eating just fruit, eat fresh veg too, as lots of fruit have high acid levels.....eat more salad abnd raw veg, also keep up the juicing, (veggies)....then for a meal, have rice, chicken, tofu....cut out/reduce fats and sugars.

Making a sudden change can upset your balance, so by doing it gradually you get more used to it, thats how I did it, and its was great!!! Gotta get going again now though.....P is baaaaddd!!!! :'(

But good luck, and just coz you had a spud, dont mean you gave up....you were hungry....LOL  ;) ;) ;)
