$25USD for the full article, aimed at medical folk I guess
Reading these two articles looked like Cyclopamine is scary stuff that needs loads of testing to make sure its safe for topical treatment!!!

hi, hove
great leads quite a mixed review out there

some say it was used in the nazi/camps on skin and as now been rediscovered etc
some say buy shares now and some say
its got serious side effects IE the active ingredient is cylopin if left to grow  in fields the sheep/cows birth lambs etc with 1eye hence the
name cylops from homer's odyssey there's loads of plants you can get it from and yet its so expensive

Interesting - I wonder if there are any trials going ahead now?

I heard about the nazi camps and always assumed that it was due to diet restrictions - here is an interesting link -

my belief is that my p has been activated by a strep throat but other proteins entering my body are still being attacked by my immune

A quote from the above site - talking about the TURKEY DIET!!! (don't try this at home kids)->
"They determined it was not because it has any beneficial component for treating psoriasis, but that it was missing something (unknown) in their patients' normal diet. They essentially became advocates of elimination diets. (I'm all for that.)"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So for now im on the gluten free diet as advised by my derm - no new p but then only been on it for just over a week so will have to wait for a while to report back!
Also I guess diferent people may be effected by different proteins?

I guess some of the above links have been shown to help some people -
pre and pro-biotic tablets and drinks
I assume the role of tumeric and apple cider vinegar suits some people too in a similar way, helping the gut

Some talk in one of your links that alchohol is very bad for the gut (for all of us?)

and I guess some of us naturally have intollerences of certain foods/drinks, perhaps we will never know or link these to our p? or perhaps cause only a little response, just requiring topicals to control.

I just hope research is being done on Cyclopamine... it sounds far to promising to drop

Still having an allergy screen in a couple of weeks which will be interesting, although i doulbt if it would pick up anything  that would affect my p -
and will get the coeliac screen results next week - but will carry the gluten free diet, while new p is not errupting for at least couple of months after I come off the ciclosporin.

Thanks for the info David

Do you mean the skinC?  Everything has risks - like the ciclosporin i'm on - must stay out of the sun, but after 30 years public usage - these things can be advised and hopefully avoided by new users, to reduct the risks.

how about 1mg of cycolpamine (£31) mixed in with a moisturiser - sounds pottentially very dangerous for us non medical folk.......I noticed somone saying that a website for american clinical trials did not have any for p - just trials for cancer i think it said.

I would guess that daff bulbs are toxic? so would irritate the skin??? hmmm I will look into that side next week.

I am aware that there are many independant and university reasearch labs that are looking at new research all the time and therefore would not want to disclose current research - so i'm always hopeful
