need help getting an uva lamp
« on: May 10, 2006, 07:13:31 AM »
Hi everybody;

I can`t use any systemics (?right word?) `cause my liver and heart are already damaged.
I can`t use the most of the ointments that are subject for so many topics - I can hardly buy a few at very high prices.
So, it seems that the best way to manage my p is a home uva lamp - uva treatment made my ppp disappear !!!
But I`m very confused, I`ve read lots of topics about that and the prices are absolutely crazy...from very cheap to extremely expensive. What I have in mind is a small lamp as the one used for palms and soles - I can hold it in position for other areas too for a few minutes .
Even if I don`t like the idea, let`s say I might ask my sister - living in London -  to buy me one cheap small lamp - I guess the bulbs are the most important thing....

So, can anyone help me with any advice and links, please ?
Thanks. ;)

Hi H

   What you might want to look at is UVB narrow band, it is a light that is more sugject to P and is supposed to help clear P quicker than normal UVB. gooogle may help but be careful.  hope this helps

Thanks Andrew;
but I thought there is a big difference between uva and uvb lamps.....anyway; as uva worked perfectly for me, that`s what I`m looking for..... :-/
I `ve read some topics about it here on pho about these lamps, but I`m still confused.....
Maybe some1 already has something similar and might help me with an advice and a link..... :-/

later edit:
ok; so I`ve read again about the uvb and the new generation narrow band.......but what about uva ? :-/
