P is disappearing and not returning.
« on: February 27, 2004, 06:54:59 AM »
I've been living a hectic life fo the past 18 months and haven't really had time to look at the site, but since I last posted, I met a chap in Perth, Scotland, where I've been living and he noticed my P.

He had it 30 odd years and wrote down for me a 'cure'.

Daily - High Strength Omega 3,6,9, oil.
Daily - Actimel or similar
Daily - High Strength Milk Thistle.
Daily - base cream with Myrhh (sp) in. (My aunt was good enough to make some up for me but you can buy it).

Amazing results!

I still have very small dots here and there but it's not worth mentioning compared to what I did have - acres of prime pink fields.

Fantastic news!!!  Myrhh is usually used for anti microbial, anti fungal stuff.  Used a lot in leprosy treatments.  You can't buy it readily but you can get myrrh essential oil - smells divine I think

tahnks for the post!!!

I agree. The smell is fantastic. Beats Rive Gauche or Givenchy any day for me.

Sounds interesting and I would like to givfe it go, but just so I am clear (excuse my ignorance); Is the Omega oil in capsual form or do you apply it to the P; Where can you get Milk Thistle and again is this for drinking or for the skin; and finally, are you saying that the myrrh essential oil is mixed with a base cream (which I assume is a moisturising cream) - sorry if I am being dumb, but I want to get it right. Thanks

I can answer the Milk Thistle question.
You drink drops of it diluted in water and you can buy it in Holland and Barrett.  It is supposed to help to de-tox the liver.

Milk Thistle is caspules - Kordels 10000. Holand abd Barrett don't keep this but I got it from an independant Health Shop.

Actimel comes in little bottles like old  fashonied pint milk bottles. Tesco/Safeway/Asda etc

Omega 3,6,9, can come in oil form or capsule form for internal use. Got this at the same indepedant Health Shop.

The base cream was just a cheap cream from Boots mixed with Myrhh essential oil. Again Boots ot one of those overpowering shops selling everything from water fountains to laxatives.

Good Luck.

I took milk thistle for a while. It tastes awful! Aloe vera tastes delicious in comparison!
When I first bought it I was advised by the health shop to start with the drops as it gets to work a lot quicker than the capsule form.
Haven't tried capsules - might have a look next time I'm out.

I've been taking 8 Codydramol and 3 Diclofenac, (Voltarol) for over 3 months and it hasn't had any side effects.

I enquired at the local natural drugist and at the GPs and they seemed fine about it.

As I say, I've never felt better and I've even got some colour back.

That's NOT to say that it would work everyone. (Disclaimer!)

It's a 'suck it n see' scenario.
