psoriasis assoc. meeting at  n/hampton
« on: May 15, 2005, 10:56:20 AM »
     Hi all
well i went to the meeting in northhampton yesterday, i did not know what to expect, and i am pleased to say that overall it was a good meeting, we learnt  about a few things that are comming on to the market, or in development stage. did a sesion on how improvement in servicesthat  could help psoriasis sufferers.
There where a couple of trade stands there but i did
really have a look at them , We talked about the association abit and the affects of more donations and the relevance of donation to research .But there are to things that i really came away with ,and they were that it was nice to meet other people with P it brought home to me that we are in the end not alone in this, all the peeps were really nice and friendly and easy to talk to.and i was really impressed by the proffesional attitude of the people who run the association, they were great, lots of there work goes unsung, there efforts for the development of the association in the terms of strength and commitment is without doubt 100%. and i would like to thank them for there effort cause at the end of the day they deserve recognition for there efforts in the work that they do and it would be a great saddness if they were no one there cause, at the end off the day, it would be us that suffer through lack of funding to go to research and also in the terms of support.
Meeting  the other peeps with P also brought home to me that we as a group , support, conversation, help go along way towards helping us all, we all know the effects on our bods both physical and pshycological,
So the more help we have, the more members to the various associations  and the more donations peeps give .Means at the end of the day the better the research and hope to finding a cure or at least better treatrment for P,
So at the end of the day i was glad i went, informative and helpfull and a good day well worth it,     But more than that i would like to say thanks to ALL the people who  help in there various ways to help people who have P, thanks for there efforts and help for making the lives of people who have P easier
     Thanks to them all
      all the best
       Andrew
