does anyone know of any good creams that will help reduce the white scar that P leaves behind?

poor girl i know was covered i helped her out and it all cleared but she is still really worried about the scars left behind, and they show up really bad as she has tanned skin

I used cocoa butter and it just smells nice but doesnt do anything, Bio Light from chemists is meant to be very good and there also this new plaster thing designed to reduce scars.......she can always show her battle wounds with pride like me!

hmmm, will the p leave scars? I have never had any myself - just white skin with less pigment due to the lack of suntan in the exposed areas.

2 scar reducing treatments are silastic gel and a new one Dermatix gel which is basically a silicon cover - not to be applied to broken skin etc. (£30ish for 15g)

I would ask your derm/gp/pharmacist for advice.

;D I hav this problem but found that if I snip open Vitamin E capsules and rub the oil in the skin it helps. My friend is diabetic and finds that it takes a long time to heal and tends to have scarring - she swears by this and I'd have to agree with her. Obviously this is something you have to do every day - dont expect results over night.
Good luck
