sls free shampoo

can anyone give me the name of a good sls free shampoo? have read about how some people have had great results with this sort of shampoo for scalp p. ???

couldn`t find that shampoo i got one called j.a.s.o.n. 84% aloe vera i`ll give that a go. it`s sls free ;)

I use a sls shampoo and conditioner from handmadenaturals.co.uk  I have the itchy scalp one and they also do a psoraisis blend one too.  Got both!  I have found that my itching has been reduced - it's not gone completely but can say it's a good 50% if not more better than when I was using shampoo prescibed to me.  Woman who makes them is Rossi and she has given me advice on which products of hers may be suitable for me.  I have also got the scalp tonic and pure coconut oil from her too.  I do find that apple cider vinegar mixed with rosemary oil and sprayed onto my scalp is fantastic at making the itching stop.  You don't smell great but it helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is a SLS Free Shampoo?

It is shampoo with no SLS in it.  Sodium Laurel Sulphate.

SLS is the ingredient which makes things foam up when in contact with water, it is cheap to manufacture and is in practically everything requiring a foam, shampoos, washing liquid etc.   I think I read somewhere on a thread it was originally designed to remove grease and oil from garage floors.   Used in too high a concentrate it is very harsh and abrasive to the skin.    :)

Hey itchy ~ yup I use Jason products from my local organic shop. Good stuff and I've noticed a difference. My skin is softer, less flakey and helps my p big time. Highly recommended 5*  ;)

As BoT has said SLS is an industrial cleaning chemical ~ stay away from it !!
