EricH started a thread on the 4th March entitled 'Juicing worth the effort' and refers to Jason Vale.

Eric gave this web site address if anyone is interested...

I'm reading the book at the moment...and just bought a cheap juicer (recommended in his book). Cost £40. Gotta be worth every penny if it works! Apparently spinach is particularly good for skin and if you add just a bit to an apple/carrot base you don't taste it...phew!

I am willing to try most anything to stop p.  This is simple enough to do, I think.  The carrot/apple combination sounds yummy!  Any other veggie/fruit mix suggestions?   :)

Carrot, apple, beetroot and ginger.  I have one of these
juices almost every day.  Makes me feel great.  It does
help my p alittle, but not as much as plain water.

It is a pain to clean out afterwards - but not as much
as a fry-up   ;D

:) :)

I echo what people have said above- I bought ajuicer after reading a Tony Robbins motivaitonal book- his advice is "if you have a car and don't have a juicer, sell the car and buy the juicer".  I'm a sucker for any kind of gadget and my kitchen is cluttered with them- however I must say that since I bought it a montha go i've revolutionised my diet- buying and juicing LOADS of oranges, apples, carrots, ginger, anything that'll fit in it basically.  My diet was terrible before and it's really helped my skin as well as overall energy levels.   And whats most noticeble is those days when I really can't be arsed to jiuce and I go and get a Mc Donald's breakfast or nothing at all, and then lose the will to juice for a day or so, my skin gets much worse.

Overall I reckon it's a great tool for better health, and lets face it as P sufferers a holistic approach to everything healthwise seems to be the order of the day

Sounds to me like a scam to sell more juicers!  Sorry to be sceptical, but surely everyone knows that fruit and veg in any form are good for you, so he's just saying what everyone knows but the juicer bit makes it sound better!
Maybe I should try it - water is good for you - everyone go out and buy a filter!  Won't stop the P though!
