I agree with Lisa & Eveloftus on this. I started this thread to discuss UDO's oil and not about my diet. I have asked questions regarding diet since it was brought up (first reply on this thread) but I do get the impression that amongst some helpful replies and answers (thank you) that my diet is being increasingly mocked and what I class as an 'extreme' diet is being 'forced down my throat' (pardon the expression) along with more and more quotes about Dr Fuhrman.

Well I was NOT mocking your diet - please accept my sincere apologies if you feel that is the case.

I am simply saying that I was in your exact same situation a few years back. I also ate the exact same food as you do now. I also took the oil for over a year and it didn't help. And I think the reason it didn't help is because I was lacking vital nutrients from my general diet. Just throwing ideas around here.

Having been in exactly the same situation and having had prior experience with it, I thought maybe I could offer some hints or tips that you may also find beneficial. Obviously not. I always try do things with the best intentions, so if I have annoyed you by trying to help - then sorry.

Sorry if you feel I am force feeding or shoving anything down your throat. I am just passionate about something that has changed my life. I know Lazza had this problem with being over exuberant too. I cleared P with diet and am maintaining clearance with diet - so surely you can understand how happy and over exuberant this makes me.

The whole reason for joining the forum (and no other reason) is I like helping people. Trouble is, many people really don't want help when it boils down to it. Perhaps I should give up posting and take up another hobby.

I am only quoting Dr Fuhrman because he is very experienced and has some potentially very useful information. If you cared to listen you may pick up a gem that may help you on your path to clearing.

Good luck with the oil Jamie. It is meant to be one of the best oils you can consume. And it has a very good reputation. You may want to rub it into your P too. Although that may turn out to be a bit expensive in the long run.

Jamie - another little tip. If you don't want to hear diet related answers, then don't ask diet related questions in the first place (i.e.) reply 18 on page 2. I had no real intention of posting in this thread again, as I had already said my piece about trying udos oil.

However, YOU asked the question and that led me onto other things diet related (i.e.) consuming more nutrient-rich raw vegetables and leafy greens daily - as it is the nutrients that will help your skin, and also suggestions about being careful you don't sabotage any clearing with the oil, by adding more inflammatory food into your diet or emotions into your life.

Me 3.5 years clear and counting but of course I know nothing  ;D and anything I do know is obviously tedious and a waste of time.

So as I am boring everyone so much, I will say no more on this thread.

Good luck with your clearing everyone. Dare I say it: with your attitudes towards people genuinely trying to help......you may need all the good luck you can get!

Tally Ho
I don't suffer from insanity....I enjoy every minute of it!

I can guarantee you that everyone here would love help in clearing their P. Just because everyone  doesn't agree with you on your diet regime does not mean that they don't want clear skin. What works for one person will not necessarily work for everyone. And you should not judge people just because they do not agree with your methods.
I have also been P free for over a year through MTX, which I know is not for everyone, but I would never lecture anyone and tell them that if they dont take mtx then they obviously don't want to be helped!

Your parting comment to Jamie is totally out of order. Jamie is always open to suggestions as well as being supportive to other PHO members and the least likely out of all PHO members to have an 'attitude'
HELP...........................

LPP, If you read page one, reply 8, you will see that I first said then I was happy with my diet, and think I have said so about 3 or 4 times in this thread since, but yet you keep increasingly patronising my diet, saying I wont clear if I dont follow your extreme diet, also making me worry I will get cancer if I dont follow your diet. You openly laughed at me because I wrote 'IF' I have vegatables.. Do you think thats supportive??

There is a big difference between helping people and arrogant preaching, you have been helpful in this thread and I am thankful for that, but I just dont understand why you have to start bullying people into buying into your ways, passionate or not. Its almost like behaviour I would expect from a leader of a sect.

I did ask you and Lazza questions about diet, as I already said in my last reply. It is rude to ignore people, but I never started the diet conversation and I never asked to hear the in's and outs of Dr Farhmans claims in great detail in every reply and for you to keep slating my diet. To be fair, your replies were set up for me to reply as you were telling me what I should be eating and what I shouldnt from the start. Are you a qualified nutritionist? Have you ever met me and reviewed my health before telling me what I should be eating?

I can understand why you are passionate about your diet, and I am sorry you suffered with more problems than just Psoriasis and I am genuinely happy you found something that you feel helped YOU. Thanks for your advice on the oil and thanks for answering my questions where you did so helpfully.

Last thing, I am very disappointed that you can seemingly laugh at the fact I have Psoriasis in your last post and apparently boast about the fact you on the otherhand are clear, because you did your diet. Many sufferers, like me have tried many treatments, including diet and are yet to find something that helps us, please dont mock us and treat us as not being helpful or supportive because we wont join your cult.

Thank you Lisa  :-*
