Use of Diprosalic ointment
« on: November 25, 2010, 10:12:57 PM »
Hi - I'm new to this, and have recently had psoriasis diagnosed, soon to have patch tests, as it's appeared out of nowhere.  I've had lots of creams so far. Betnotave, Diprobase, etc and now Diprosalic ointment.  I have it on my feet and hands mostly, but there's a bit on my scalp.  I see from web that there's a treatment for scalp but wondered if I could use the ointment on my scalp as I didn't get prescription for the scalp treatment.  Any advice really welcome!  Thanks.

Diprosalic will make you happy for a week, not more.

You're in the wrong board pal..

Hi lorien...as the diprosalic ointment is a prescribed medicine... it would be best to repost your question to the laboratory section where prescribed medicines are addressed. I'm certain there are many there with good advice to your query.
(Perhaps the moderators will move your question to that section?)

i see this is your first post..you will find many here ready and willing to help you with some great advice and support...good luck..

hi again lorien...since no one has jumped in or moved your question...

i'll show you how...up in the laboratory section...or on the upper right of every page you can search the forum of any particular board or room...

so on upper right..type in Diprosalic ointment and click on "this topic" and change to "entire forum" and hit search....three pages of discussion on your question... ;)

good luck..bj

Didn't know there  was an ointment but i have been using the scalp application on my skin the last 2 weeks as Eumovate was doing nothing for me despite working wonders a few months ago now my skin is much better looking and i wake up in the morning without almost any pain  :)

Thanks for the replies, bjm and balliestonboy.  This discussion board stuff is all new to me, and it's taken me a couple of tries finding the reply button!  I'll keep going with the Diprosalic and see how it goes.
