UVS Handheld Therapy Lamp
« on: May 06, 2008, 10:44:00 PM »
Hi

Been looking at this to give it a go. I have relatively few patches of psoriasis but some of it in delicate places!  :-[

Anybody have experience of using this and it's effectiveness (or otherwise)?

Thanks

Beverley

hi, i have a dermalight 80 and have been using it for a few weeks, it's working for me, it can be a bit time consuming and i have to get my wife to help with the patches on my back and scalp, and it's easy to burn those delicate places as they don't often see daylight let alone sunlight :o
I got a little black book with me poems in

Yep, sold it on ebay... at a huuuge loss, i'm a real impulse buyer but wish I'd saved the money in this case... diet and nasty garlic/lemon/ginger drinks seem to work just fine :)

hey, im only signed on here for a bit and having some trouble finding a place to post my story,,,but pass it on if ya want...I was misdiagnosed with mild to severe plaque psoriasis that was an ongoing struggle for 2.2years, of which i went through countless steroid lotion tubes, went to the uvb sun treatment 3 times a week, which by the way caused some serious sun damage to my nose and neck, and did what my dermatologist recommended, eventually got 'psoriatic arthritis' in my ankle and shoulder, all the while experiencing zero results except a toxic physology from the creams and a hell of a tan, facial skin sun damage and a handfull of severe sunburns from inexperienced kiaser fill ins at the derm.office and just hid the problems.......Come to find out 2.2 years later, I was infected with syphillis the whole time,, got treated with 3 shots of 28million cc pinnocyline and everything cleared....never even had this psoriasis stuff.  Now, heres the catch, my dermatologist of 22 years experience was certain of my disease..all 5 times I went to him for different related psoriasis issues... But the underpaided latino nurse at the county health services was also certain, but actually right, and ive now been cleared up, healthy, no arthritis pains, nor skin problems for 9 months since receiving proper help for my 'psoriasis'  not claiming the disease isnt real and knarly....just that check all your avenues...good luck out there.
