:)hi everyone , sorry its been a while since i've been on here , but i thought it was time to let you guys and girls know how i've been getting on with vitamin d3 ( 5000iu aday ) since june 2008 . well i've been great , the last outbreak ( guttate was april 2008 ) ususally brought on by colds / sore throats , ive had several colds and one tricky sore throat in that time with basically no ill effects and i have to say i think it may be down to the vitamin d3 .........of course i can't prove this cus i'm no doctor or scientist but it all points to the d3 i've been taking . i suppose it could be just a good run of fortune but i'm happy and i'm sure its worth a go for some of you . It was Aussieguy who first suggested the d3 so i suppose i have him to thank . if there's anyone else taking the same it would be great to hear how your doing  :) ady

Hi,

I have been taking Vit D3 along with the other vitamins and ibuprofen suggested in
other posts here. Also been on a raw veg shake diet.

Both have been great for my P. Im not sure wether its the Vit D3 or the diet...but my
P is so much better. Also as a SAD i think the Vit D3 is also helping there.
( as grey winter days not effecting me much)
Currently I am taking 5000iu, but may up this a little. Fot the first two months i was
on 2000iu, but it wasnt enough.

good luck with it, it working for some of us

I posted a new topic before I saw this.

I was just wondering where you are getting the vit d3 from and what's the best brand?

I am considering taking it as I've read some positive reports on it.

I had SAD too, vitamin D changed that for me too! (but also living in a sunny place as opposed to Geneva Switzerland, where the winters were brutally grey...)
