Having lived with my crappy skin for 35 years since I was 14 I think I can say I know it's little foibles intimately. Like andii I am definately seeing an improvement but as he/ she?? says , it is very slow, but hey!...i'm prepared to wait!

I take

AM                                                                                  Total Price
1 boots Folic Acid 400 mcg                                                4.4p
2 Boots Omega 3,6,9  oil capsules 279mg                           6.4p
1 Boots complete a-Z                                                        2.4p
2 Cod liver Oil capsules                                                     6p
1 Boots flax seed capsule 1050mg                                      8p
2 healthspan vit d3 400 iu                                                  4.6p
2 Garlic capsules                                                               4p
1 Glucosamine Sulphate 500mg                                          5p

PM
1 Ibuprofen                                                                       6p

I take the Garlic and Cod liver oil because I bought loads when they were on special offer and they need using up. Glucosamine helps with the joints.

In total I am taking 800iu + 10u.g  of Vitamin D Inc multi vit , cod liver and simple vit d tabs.
multi vit has 25ug selenium

Total cost about 40p a day (80 US cents)

Just got some new batts for the camera and am flashing away. will publish the before during and after photo's  at end January to give the  regime a good length of trial.

I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me...than a full frontal Lobotomy!!!

hahha...oohsuitusir..exactly how much Vitamin D are you getting from that smorgasbord??...gotta get around 1500iu or better this time of year..

andi..any subtle changes?...

i slowly noticed...nails became more flexible..softer..yellowish  discoloration dissappeared..
                        scalp cleared first.
plaques seemed thinner..drying up so to speak
ibuprofen at night seemed to make  sleep deeper
                        less inflamed .fewer itching feelings...
                        moods were more solid...pretty upbeat.
                         PA slowly lessened

happy holidays..bj

Bj, I noticed my otherwise excellent Lelord Kordells men's multi vit without iron had vitd2 in so im asking if its ok to add some D3 and if the D2 in the muti is ok to have as well as I really like the rest of the combination?
 thanks for your time

 BTK ;D

 Hi BTK,

D2 (ergocalciferol )is not the right stuff..From what i've read..it is from a vegetable, plant based form of Vitamin D, not found in the body and not as well absorbed or converted by the liver and kidneys to the active calcitriol form.

The stuff your skin makes is Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol),,and i can only say what i know works..and D3 is  it...
here's a good  explanation of the differences and why D3 is the choice..

I'd just bite the bullet for a couple of months to see if it works...skip your multivitamin...get a small cheap multivitamin and take an additional 1500iu (37 mcg )of D3...less in summer, more in winter..
if the formula  doesn't work after a few months (which i doubt) then go back to your chosen multi

just my best guess,  good luck and happy holidays,

bj

My forearms are developing islands of clear skin. I was going to post some pics  after seeing the above but the new battery I put in the cameara has run out????. I may have a dodgy camera!

Whereas before starting I was developing thickish plaque i 2 days , I am not developing plaques at all now....instread my skin is much flatter and I shed a fine dust. (god ...psoriasis makes you sound dead sexy!!!!)

Islands appearing as above on midriff and thighs
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me...than a full frontal Lobotomy!!!

Did anyone find their P got slightly worse first? Mind you, I've only been doing it for a week.

Hi grand,

I don't recall if mine got worse, i think it was possibly more itchy but i never had it on my face  so i can't ccomment on that ....maybe others have had a similar response.

I can only suggest if you take the formula, the proper amounts and be patient it will work..it take weeks to months especially this time of year to build up a level of D, a month to reprogram t cells etc....changes are very subtle.

i see you are also taking sun tans. The sun or UVB will work but not sun tan booths which is UVA..

I don't know what this effect will be.....it may well exacerbate the P.... it may cause a photo reaction from the ibuprofen, too little D?, what other ingredients you are taking?? The shotgun approach of  trying all things doesn't work. I realize you want to beat this beast, but you have to be patient.

The spots on your face must be a real pain  and i can empathize . Although with my old mug it doesn't make much difference, ...but if i was a young lad like yourself..i'd be climbing the walls..,..a short run dose of steroid cream as andi suggested may be in order..

The more variables you add to the mix the less chance of knowing whats going on positive or negative...thats the problem...if one can keep it simple.... that's half the battle.

my best bj..
