Did anyone find their P got slightly worse first? Mind you, I've only been doing it for a week.
I have a bit of ebb and flow but its defo improving.  First my leg cleared completly and my hands are almost 100%. Last place is my feet and ankles and here its been little change. Only other thing i'm using is Eucerin cream (10%) on the affected areas.

Hi BJ,
thanks for all the ideas here, i also tried vitamins and "good" oils with Ibuprofen, but have to say that my face turned a bit more pink then it is usual, which made me to stop taking it. i will probably give it another go in a few weeks. thanks anyway, i think the fish oil helps me louds even without Ibuprofen.

hi neil, no, i don't believe there is a problem...i would just take the Glucosamine at a different time such as the afternoon or evening.. in case there's some absorption differences....i've found while on just the formula...my pa, aches, pains etc have gone...

here's a link talking about musculoskeletal pain and other topics regarding vitamin D and sun...some of it is anecdotal..some probably inaccurate..but some is interesting...

Hi Bj
Thanks for the link there was a lot of interesting stuff in there but as you say how much of it is fact is up for debate  ;D it made interesting reading about light and UV , but not sure I believed the bit about women thowing away their sunglasses to get pregnant ;D ;D , I have been taking the vits for about a month but I only managed to get my hands on the vit D about 2 weeks ago so I have not seen any change as yet , but I will be giving it a few months before I decide whether there is any improvement, anyway I hope you had a good christmas and best of luck for the new year
Neil

Hi there,

I was interested to see that you mentioned Sarcoidosis in your post. I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis years ago and then developed Psoriasis a few years after that. Is there a common link between this and Psoriasis?

hi, i like the name!....The only connection that i know of deals with Vitamin D.

In barneys formula, I'm suggesting people take additional Vitamin D as well as other vitamins, omega 3 oils and ibuprofen. People with sarcoidosis(which my sister has) and others with some forms of cancer and a few other diseases must stay away from additional Vitamin D as well as the sun etc..

Unfortunately, those individuals with Sarcoidosis as well as other mentioned diseases, must limit intake of Vitamin D.  The sarcoid granulomas (cells) make the active form (calcitriol) of vitamin D which creates too high D levels and results in high calcium levels. This is also why sarcoid patients,  when their disease is active, must stay out of the sun, limit vitamin d  etc...

Hi

I'm thinking about increasing the Vit D3 intake. Currently getting 5ug from the multi, 3.37ug from the cod liver oil and 25ug from the 2 vit D capsules. That gives a total of 33.37ug. Whats everyone else taking?

Cheers

p.s of the 4 tiny new spots which appeared on my cheek one has disappeared today. Hooray  ;D

In total I am taking 800iu + 10u.g  of Vitamin D Inc multi vit , cod liver and simple vit d tabs. God knows what that means ...but it's working

Symptoms of a cholecalciferol overdose include irregular heartbeats, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, dry mouth, decreased appetite, constipation, weakness, headache, and a metallic taste in the mouth.

I have none of the above so Hurrah!!!!
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me...than a full frontal Lobotomy!!!
