Where is BJM?
« on: September 19, 2011, 08:52:20 PM »
I have been behind the scenes, reading posts on both this and on the US forum, and can't help but notice that BJM has been conspicuously absent lately.  Does anyone know where he has been, and if he is alright?  Does anyone know why his website has disappeared?   I am having horrible visions of him being thrown in jail for trying to help us all, or having gotten ill.  Can anyone respond?  where are you, BJM????

i'm here.., not in jail, not sick ...just on vacation for the summer..recharging the lithiums, looking for ideas

I quit paying godaddy for the barneys domain and let the blog go back to them  in july..so any ads are theirs and not mine..i have nothing to do with the site.... unfortunately, my godaddy barneys email also quit then and i missed a bit of mail and  will upgrade it here...puter crashed andi forgot my password here, and since email didn't work for the password retrieval,  i took it as a sign  to continue fishing, catching rays and reading more.. :D..i still have a barneys blog on google but no recent posts as i just wanted to kick back and forget the p.until the blizzards come :P..
Doing good with the p..pretty brown, a few not brown spots on shins, a little pa in shoulder and foot..but good. generally trying to understand it by my results and the ideas of others, their posts, results etc, which i read here ..

for me it has been 4000iu of D/day all summer, one ibu, small multi, some C for my uric acid levels and perhaps skin cancer,as well as  selenium, folic,2x flax oil, lots of sun and good diet..basically just trying to reduce the inflammation in any area

just thought i'd fish, catch rays and read the kindle...hate to see the damn summer go..

thanks for the query...missed you all !

Speaking of uric acid levels, bj, I have had terrible wrist pain for the last month and need to take 12 advils daily, i wonder if my uric acid level is high. I did read that psoriatic people may have elevated uric acid and gout coexisting with PsA. So I should have it tested, or just maybe take vitamin C. Is 500mg enough or 1000 would be better?

Glad to see you're ok BJ.  I had a feeling you took the whole summer off, but I'm glad that's confirmed.

I think spending time away from this board has been a good thing.  Aside from a post I made last week, I haven't been on this forum too much in the past month.
