Just discovered this site so this is my first post, wanted to share this with you as if it can help in some way that would be great
I've had plaque psoriasis since I was 14 (now 21) when I went through some personal problems. I am pretty much covered all over my body, sprouting up on my face at the moment which is horrible
My skin is very resistant to all treatments, you name it I've tried it- UVB, PUVA, tar, every steroid cream you can think of, methotrexate, cyclosporin, chinese medicine, accupuncture, diet changes, therapy, EVERYTHING!!!!
So I was so suprised when my friend bought me an Ella Cosmetics nail care kit for christmas- the moisturisor is like miracle cream! Their products contain dead sea minerals, I had actually already tried one of their salt scrubs which caused me a lot of pain so didn't hold out much hope for it but as soon as I used it I felt relief. Within a week my skin had improved 70%. I have NEVER used anything on my skin which has worked even half as well- dovabet doesn't even touch it. It is quite expensive (around £30 for the kit, I can't find moisturisor on its own) but have just found it on eBay buy it now for £5!! It is under the name of Etre cosmetics on eBay but I am certain it is the same one as the company changed its name. I know psoriasis needs to be treated from the inside out but if this can give some relief it must be worth a try
