Good Luck - Its good timing if you do manage to get there cos the results should be available then. Seem to having a bit of a flare myself today feet really sore, backs burning and hands are extremly puffy, probably the worst I have seen them for a few months. Due my next jab of goli next week so hopefully will see some improvement then.

Blood test is now done and results will bw with doctor tomorrow. I have also noticed that I have a few mouth ulcers, which I am thinking is a sign of possible problems with MTX. I am taking a good multi vitaman tab as well as a folic acid tab once a day excepting MTX day. The blood tests will reveal everything and then its me V rheumy. I am going to record the conversations this time round. Should have done it a long time ago.....
I must be in a perpetual flare as I am always in pain and have painful joints 24/7 in one form or another. Hope your eases a bit as we all need a break.

Thanks Moan - hope all goes well at rheumy tomorrow. I am going to docs tomorrow cos my eyelids are really sore (am wondering if it could be P developing) They are very itchy but sore too

Thanks, hope its not conjunctivitis in those eyes as it is doing its rounds in schools etc. I have some P spots appearing on my hands and flake with a few days or so. They are not too big but am watching them grow like the grass in the garden  ;D

Roll on tomorrow and I have already been warned by she who must be obeyed, to turn it down when I see the rheumy, so I promised until the 1st sign of further back tracking. Up to my gills now and its make or break, I even threatened to force hosp security to throw me out.  8)

Right, just got back and am still fuming. Got a full medical and was told that I now also have fibromyalgia and given naproxen tabs. He will also ask GP to prescribe some other meds which he cannot do from his side. The PA he says is well under control and has reduced the MTX to 6 tabs a week. He has also sent me to the fibro clinic and to have some excercises down on all the joints....cannot think of its name now. Mind a blank. Also told that too much morphine is no good, so hence Naproxen to try and ease the pain, which he says is caused by fibro....So no further PA related drugs for now.

Regarding the phone calls etc, he will look into it for me and will personally call me. I did let off some steam and he clearly got the message as the nurse was even a bit flushed in her face when I stopped, and gave me a good nod or two.
