Its so blooming frustrating sometimes the pace of treatment - my hands have changed quite a bit over the last year its so annoying. Co-codomol is the thing I find most effective too.

I must say it was intially my hands and feet, and occassional left elbow, now it is hands/feet/left shoulder/left elbow/lower back with psoriasis now spreading acroiss my fingers from underneath my nails, but hey the small patches of psoriasis on each elbow have completely gone, then they comne back - nothing makes any sense, I am just relieved that I have afound a pain killer that gets to the pain.

Sorry, I'm a little late to this one. I hope you're getting on well with the MTX.

As for me the first couple of months the MTX made me very tired/no energy for a couple of days after taking. However since then, there have been no real side effects save for some mouth soreness here and there which is usually because I forget the folic acid. It took, if I remember correctly, about 3 months or so to start feeling the positive effects. With the MTX I went from crushing fatigue/pain, sausages/balloons as fingers and walking with a cane to a fairly normal existence. I still deal with some pain but it is (so far) perfectly manageable and I haven't had any painkillers for over a month. I do sometimes wonder how long this will continue to be effective but for now I certainly appreciate the stuff. I wish the best for you too.

Thats good to hear it's working for you  :).

Tomorrow is my 3rd time taking it and I know from what i've read and been told it'll be roughly 3 months before I feel any improvements, I need to be patient I guess!!!

cheers
