Hello, I'm not long diagnosed with pa but no psoriasis (for which I'm very grateful) but wondering if anyone else has this combination.  If so, how long before the psoriasis showed up.  I've never joined a forum before so not sure if anyone asks this type of question. lol :)

Hi Scotmag, welcome to PHO.  :)

I developed Psoriasis long before good ol' PA showed it's ugly mug, but here is some info from Arthritis Research UK...

Psoriatic arthritis causes inflammation in and around the joints. It usually affects people who already have psoriasis, a skin condition that causes a red, scaly rash, especially on the elbows, knees, back, buttocks and scalp. However, some people develop the arthritis symptoms first, while others never develop the skin disease.

Let's hope you're one of the lucky ones who won't go on to develop Psoriasis.  :)

Here's another link regarding PA without P that you may find helpful...

As Islander has said, have a look at the Psoriatic Arthritis Discussion Board (The Clinic) for more information and if you wish to post any questions.  ;)
