I also have eye twitches (up to 30 an hour which can be triggered by touch, eating etc.) which can last up to six months. I mentioned it at a dental hospital appointment that I was attending for tri-geminal neuralgia. They thought it was stress related as was my dental problem. Must admit; when I reduced my workload it did disappear. Could  being off the drugs be causing you to be stressed without realising it. Stress can also increase P.A and P. as you probably already know. I have not noticed a correlation between flares and twitches but I will watch out for them now. Interesting!

Speaking about fat, would you recommand to limit oil intake such as olive oil ?

Olive oil is the best oil I know. You can use it with no limits without any concern. I am using it everyday to almost every meal (except yogurt - here I use primrose oil).

Olive oil is a vegetable oil which I consider harmless for us (for me at least). Concurrently I am trying to avoid animal fats (practically all are saturated) completely, because I deemed them totally useless and highly unsafe - probably most of the contemporary diseases are connected with the high animal fat intake.

Your body doesn't need saturated fats (supplied with food) at all. It will produce them itself.

Olive oil consist of a bit of saturated fats but like I said before vegetable oils, even saturated, strangely are not so bad. The proportion of the fats (satrated vs. unsaturated) in the product is crucial.
The main component of the olive oil is oleic acid - 55-85% - monounsaturated fat.

I completely  agree with you on olive oil, but do you have the same opinion in relation to the hype "coconut oi"l ? It's mostly saturated fat if I'm not mistaken but it has become increasingly popular due to it's health benefits..I'm still dubious but I keep on reading, reading, reading...

"Nearly 50 percent of the fat in coconut oil is of a type rarely found in nature called lauric acid, a "miracle" compound because of its unique health promoting properties. Your body converts lauric acid into monolaurin, which has anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-protozoa properties. (6)"..

What's your take on it ?

Tonight is going to be a first for me.
I'm going to a works black tie event and I'm not going to be drinking.
I'm at a table with my work mates and their partners ANSI will be the only one
Not drinking! Boooooo
Complete first for me. I had a look in the mirror before I got dressed just to
Remind me the reasons for not having a drink and for me it's totally worth it.
I'm also looking fwd to having no hangover in the morn.

What Beverley said  :)

Beverley's been there, I've been there, and many others on here. Im sat here with short sleeved blouse and skirt on and i never thought it would be. There are many treatments to put it in remission now

Your are on your way to that by getting your appointment, and honestly you will wonder why you were nervous and you will come out feeling much more positive i'm sure

Dont hold back, write down a list of things this stops you from doing or makes you feel uncomfortable, everything. When i went to see mine i just handed her the list and she sat and read it
I found that a lot easier than remembering to tell her while i was there and we went through things and yes i did get upset but it was the first step to me being in control of this  :)
Keep us posted

30% chance? So 1 in 3 or 4 of us will have a stroke or heart attack because of Humira?
I doubt that and it's certainly not something I was ever told.

I've been on it just 2 weeks and the results are amazing.
There are risks, which your derm should have explained (but things seem confused on his/her side)
Have a look on their the B.A.D. guidelines here You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I currently live in a country where gold is the standard :)

Well I live in a country where mercury amalgam is used more than in any country in the world  ;D
Gold is also the standard (along with chrome for crowns) and looking at the price of that stuff right now I advise you to put the money you would spend on it in a trip to a modern dentist in another country where you could put some biocompatible stuff instead...

My psoriasis always reacts well to a combination of sunshine and sea salt.
